UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital-Madison is a state-of-the-art, 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to helping individuals regain their independence and return to the lives they love following an injury or illness. We are accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF-accredited for our Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program and Stroke Specialty Program.

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process – assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Collaborate closely with patients, families, and our interdisciplinary care team to create personalized care plans.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient conditions to physicians, supervisors, and colleagues.
• Play a key role in the discharge planning process to support safe, successful transitions.

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
• Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.

• CPR/BCLS certification.
• ACLS preferred.
• Minimum six months' medical/surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
