** Job Summary
** The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate transportation of metal fabrication products, materials, and supplies to and from customers, vendors, and job sites. This role requires adherence to all traffic and safety regulations, proper handling and securing of loads, and providing excellent customer service while representing the company in a professional manner.

- ** Key Responsibilities
*** Safely operate company trucks and vehicles to deliver fabricated metal products and raw materials.
* Load and unload deliveries using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual methods as required.
* Ensure products are properly secured and protected during transport to prevent damage.
* Verify delivery documentation including shipping papers, bills of lading, and customer receipts.
* Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety issues.
* Adhere to all DOT, OSHA, and company safety requirements.
* Maintain accurate delivery logs and records.
* Assist with material handling, staging, or packaging in the shop when not on delivery runs.
* Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal staff to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
* Represent the company with courtesy, professionalism, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.## Qualifications

* ** High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
* Valid driver’s license (CDL may be required depending on vehicle type).
* Clean driving record.
* Experience in delivery driving or material handling preferred, especially in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading materials.
* Forklift certification or willingness to be trained preferred.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Understanding of shop safety rules and PPE requirements.
