Base pay range

$19.00/hr - $21.00/hr

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, plumbing, and Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems in campus facilities. Maintenance services are provided in accord with facility policies and procedures and consistent with state and federal laws and regulations to maintain an environment that enhances the quality of life for residents.

• Perform electrical and plumbing tasks and repairs in accordance with safe practices.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Read, follow, and carry out detailed but uncomplicated written, verbal, or diagrammatic instructions; complete simple checklists and fill out forms.
• Maintain excellent attendance and reliability.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork and customer service skills.
• Support residents with dignity, compassion, and respect.

• Knowledge of plumbing and electrical tasks and repair practices.
• Ability to operate equipment such as hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and complete basic documentation.
• Strong reliability and attendance record.
• Strong teamwork and customer service skills.
• Ability to support residents with dignity, compassion, and respect.
