Job Overview
The RN Clinical Nurse provides patient‑centered, evidence‑based nursing care across the continuum, collaborating with an interprofessional team to ensure safe and compassionate care.
Schedule & CompensationFull time, benefit eligible. 30 hours per week divided into 2–12hour shifts week one and 3–12hour shifts week two. Day shift, 7:00am–7:00pm. 3rd weekend on holiday rotation. Overtime exempt:

Key Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process, evidence‑based practice, and specific competencies to assess patients’ physical condition and nursing needs.
- Develop and implement a collaborative plan of care with patients and the interprofessional team.
- Provide specialty‑specific care in a manner that is age appropriate, developmentally sensitive, and culturally specific.
- Identify ways to improve patient experience, streamline care processes, and lower costs while promoting quality.
- Contribute to a professional environment that encourages mentoring and development to retain expert clinicians.
- Consult and maintain positive relationships with physicians and other team members to problem‑solve and improve patient care.
- Demonstrate proactive risk management to prevent crises.
- Perform competently in life‑threatening emergencies, matching demands and resources during crisis situations.
- Current Wisconsin RN licensure.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- BSN required for non‑BSN nurses within 5 years of hire if less than 1 year of RN experience.
- American Heart Association ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire.
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) completion within 18 months for nurses with 1 year of ED experience, with maintenance every 4 years.
- Move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, pulling) and lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Exposure to blood borne pathogens while performing duties.
- Manual dexterity and hand‑eye coordination for patient procedures.
- Frequent exposure to sharp objects and instruments.
- Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and electrical shock.
- Possible exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials.
- Occasional contact with aggressive or combative patients.
- Standing and walking for extended periods; moving patients and equipment with proper body mechanics.
- Lifestyle engagement: health coaches, relaxation rooms, health‑focused apps.
- Mental health support.
- Minimal or zero copays; team member cost‑sharing premiums.
