Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
InGenesis is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to work with our client. In this role, you will provide direct and indirect nursing care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff and follow individualized treatment programs for approximately 60 geriatric and/or disabled members. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of geriatric and disabled veterans by delivering high-quality, person-centered care in a long-term care setting.

Schedule and Work Hours

AM Shift: 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

PM Shift: 1:45 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. Staff weekend rotation and holiday rotation will be selected based off facility need.

Key Responsibilities Provide direct and indirect basic nursing care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Assist in implementing individualized treatment and care programs for approximately 60 geriatric and/or disabled members. Deliver therapeutic, preventive, restorative, rehabilitative, psychological, and spiritual care in accordance with established care plans. Assist members with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and feeding.

Observe, document, and report changes in members' physical, emotional, and mental conditions to licensed staff. Support members in maintaining dignity, independence, and quality of life. Assist with transferring, positioning, ambulation, and range-of-motion activities. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for members. Collaborate effectively with nurses, therapists, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Current Wisconsin Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing. Ability to provide compassionate care to geriatric and disabled populations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Ability to perform physical duties associated with resident care, including lifting, transferring, and assisting members with mobility.

Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or veteran care settings. Experience caring for geriatric populations and individuals with physical disabilities. Knowledge of restorative and rehabilitative care practices.
