Assembles meal trays/meals, snacks, and nourishments per specified meal order or diet guidelines, adhering to portion control and quality food presentation standards;
Loads and transports food carts, and delivers food to patient/resident rooms or designated areas following established procedures;
Follows established food handling procedures, monitors temperature of food and equipment, etc., to ensure food safety and infection control practices are met;
Performs prep work such as washing and peeling fruits and vegetables and cutting and portioning of desserts;
Cooks food using proper cooking technique to ensure desired quality standards for portion size, taste, appearance, and temperature
