What a typical day looks like Diagnose and repair mechanical issues across a variety of machines and auxiliary equipment.
Execute preventive maintenance and inspections to keep assets reliable and efficient.
Apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) precisely to maintain a safe work environment.
Use blueprints and technical drawings to plan and carry out quality repairs.
Record work performed and flag emerging issues to leadership.
Partner with teammates to strengthen maintenance processes and equipment reliability.
Skills that set you up for success
Hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
Depth in PM strategies and mechanical inspection techniques.
Confidence with LOTO procedures and safe work practices.
Fluency reading blueprints and technical schematics.
Sharp problem-solving, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Clear communication and a collaborative mindset.
Proficiencies Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills Preventive Maintenance & Inspection Tape Measure Reading Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
Blueprint Reading Tools & technologies
Power Tools Pay & schedule $30.09–$45.00 per hour base (based on experience)
Time-and-a-half on Saturdays Double time on Sundays $2.00/hour premium for 2nd and 3rd shift
