Bethany is seeking a Resident Associate to support youth in our Residential Child and Adolescent Care (RCAC) program. In this role, you’ll provide trauma-informed, faith-respectful care and daily supervision in a structured, therapeutic environment. You’ll help residents with routines, life skills, safety, and behavior support, while collaborating with clinical and case management staff. This position is ideal for compassionate, mission-driven individuals interested in social services, youth work, and professional growth in a supportive, team-based setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct, trauma-informed care and supervision to residents in the RCAC program
  • Support residents’ daily living needs, routines, and skill-building activities
  • Implement individualized service and safety plans in alignment with agency policies
  • Monitor resident behavior, de-escalate crises, and document incidents accurately
  • Collaborate with clinical, case management, and education staff to coordinate care
  • Maintain a safe, clean, structured, and nurturing residential environment
  • Model healthy boundaries, positive communication, and culturally humble interactions
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and shift handoffs to ensure continuity of care
  • Accurately complete electronic documentation and reports in a timely manner
  • Support faith-informed and culturally respectful programming, as appropriate for residents
