Central Wisconsin Christian School in Waupun, WI is seeking faithful and flexible Short-Term Substitute Teachers to provide instructional support in the absence of regular classroom teachers. Substitutes are responsible for implementing lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and maintaining a respectful, Christ-centered learning environment across various grade levels (K-12). Ideal candidates hold or are eligible for a Wisconsin Short-Term Substitute License or have a four-year college degree, demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills, and are committed to the mission and values of Christian education.

This is an as-needed position that requires adaptability, dependability, and a heart for serving students both academically and spiritually.

• Deliver instruction based on lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher.
• Maintain classroom order and promote a safe, respectful, and Christ-centered learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administration.
• Adapt to a variety of grade levels and subject areas, ranging from Kindergarten through 12th grade.
• Supervise students during class time, transitions, and, if applicable, recess or lunch periods.
• Follow all school procedures, schedules, and classroom routines as directed.
• Report any incidents, concerns, or necessary follow-ups to school leadership.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Holds or is eligible for a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction Short-Term Substitute License or possesses a four-year college degree.
• Demonstrates a personal commitment to the Christian faith and aligns with the mission and values of Central Wisconsin Christian School.
• Exhibits strong classroom management, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond effectively to classroom dynamics.
• Prior teaching or substitute teaching experience is preferred, though not required.
