Position: Product Safety Specialist (m/f/d)
We are looking for a Product Safety Specialist to support our R&D and Engineering teams by ensuring that our products meet the required safety standards throughout their development. You will be the key point of contact for product safety topics, carrying out independent assessments and guiding the integration of safety requirements into our systems and processes.

What you will do:
  • Act as the central contact person for all product safety matters.
  • Conduct independent safety assessments at system and product level.
  • Identify applicable laws, regulations and safety standards.
  • Support R&D in defining safety goals and tracking safety requirements.
  • Review and validate safety concepts.
  • Perform hazard analyses, risk assessments, FMECA and fault tree analysis.
  • Lead internal reviews and audits related to safety activities.
  • Consolidate and manage safety-relevant documentation and evidence.
  • Prepare and maintain the Safety Case.
  • Provide expertise in functional safety and failure analysis.
  • Analyse development results and create test reports.
  • Collaborate with the Product Safety Officer and engineering teams in Germany.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Aeronautical, Electronics, Systems or similar).
  • Experience in product development, systems engineering or quality in design (2+ years).
  • Knowledge of risk and failure analysis techniques (e.g., hazard analysis, FMECA, fault tree).
  • Familiarity with structured development methodologies (APQP, V-Model).
  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working with technical documentation and engineering tools (Office, PLM, SAP/Oracle).
  • English proficiency (B2 or above).
  • Occasional travel to Germany for training and alignment with corporate safety standards.
