We are seeking a compassionate, efficient, and clinically confident Nurse Practitioner (NP) who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
This role is critical to daily healthcare operations, with a strong focus on completing physical examinations efficiently and maintaining timely chronic care follow-up visits to support continuity of care and patient wellness.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations in a timely and efficient manner to support operational needs
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Manage chronic care clinics and ensure appropriate follow-up care for patients with ongoing medical needs
- Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests and lab results
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and facility protocols
- Document all patient encounters accurately and thoroughly within the electronic medical record system
- Collaborate closely with nursing staff, mental health professionals, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Respond appropriately to urgent and emergent medical situations
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements
- Deliver patient-centered care with professionalism, compassion, and strong clinical judgment
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in WI
- Minimum of 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience preferred
- Experience in correctional healthcare, primary care, urgent care, or internal medicine preferred
- Strong assessment, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
