Position Title:
Shipping Coordinator Wage: $20.50/hour + $1/hour Shift Premium
Shift: 1st or 2nd
Hours:
7:00am - 3:00pm or 3:00pm - 11:00pm Ready to jump into a great opportunity ASAP? We’re hiring a Shipping Coordinator in Waupun, WI on 1st and 2nd shift, for a temp-to-hire role with competitive pay! If you have experience with Shipping & Receiving, a little material handling knowledge, and has great attention to detail skills, this could be the perfect fit.

- Prepare, verify, and process outgoing shipments
- Check product quantities, weights, labels, and shipping information for accuracy
- Create and maintain shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing slips, commercial invoices, shipping labels and advance shipping notices
- Coordinate shipments using various transportation methods, including LTL, parcel, expedited, air, and ocean freight
- Enter and maintain shipping information in SAP and other computer systems
- Monitor customer requirements and ensure shipments meet all specifications
- Track and manage returnable containers and communicate with customers regarding inventory levels
- Load, unload, move, and store materials using forklifts, hand jacks, hoists, and other equipment
- Assemble, band, and shrink-wrap shipments for safe transportation
- Inspect shipments before departure to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintain shipping supplies and inventory
- Communicate effectively with production, receiving, and other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic maintenance and cleaning
- Assist with shipping department operations and provide backup support for the Shipping Supervisor when needed
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- At least one year of shipping, logistics, warehouse, or related experience preferred
- Ability to operate or become certified to operate a forklift
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and use of shipping systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift, move, and handle shipping materials safely
