Controller Position Located in the Wausau Area
We are working with a rapidly-growing manufacturing company that is looking for a new Controller to join the team. This position will oversee a team of four and has a quick roadmap to VP!
Responsibilities- Prepare the annual budget and forecasts
- Prepare monthly detailed cash forecasts
- Manage and supervise the cost system to provide accurate information for inventory valuation, manufacturing variances, and overhead costs
- Prepare monthly financial statements and lead close process
- Comply with government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Coordination and preparation of fiscal year end external audit
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 6+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing setting
- Problem-solving/process improvement mindset
