We are looking for a motivated Accountant with 2–5 years of accounting experience to join our team. As an Accountant, you'll work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy, support reporting and analysis, and help drive continuous improvement throughout the organization.
What You'll Do- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.
- Analyze financial data and investigate discrepancies.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management efforts.
- Assist with audit preparation and compliance requirements.
- Recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Partner with operations and management teams to support company goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2–5 years of accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in logistics, transportation, freight brokerage, or supply chain industries.
- CPA certification or progress toward obtaining CPA credentials.
- Experience supporting month-end close and financial reporting processes.
