WAOW TV9 in Wausau, WI has an immediate opening for a full-time Sales Assistant. This position keeps our television station on the air and broadcasting 24/7. Candidate must be detail oriented, have multi-tasking abilities, and excellent organization skills. Success in this position is measured by accuracy, attention to detail, a track record of dependability and organizational skills.
The Sales Assistant prepares daily commercial and program logs for multiple stations. The successful candidate will work with the sales manager to manage commercial inventory, assign and manage input of commercial materials, download and maintain commercial materials and paid programming, enter orders, schedule programming and coordinate with other departments on special projects.
This is a fast-paced, high-performance sales environment. You must have strong attention to detail, great organizational skills as well as have a High School diploma, excellent communication skills and meticulous data-entry skills. A minimum of one year experience in clerical support or administrative assistance is preferred. Computer experience, ability to learn new software quickly and juggling multiple tasks is essential.
