Job Title: Supply Chain Intern

Reports to: Corporate Purchasing Director

Hours: Monday-Friday, during normal business hours of operation

Duration: Summer Internship expected to last beginning of June-August 2026

Pay: This is a paid internship and hourly wage will be discussed prior to the interview process.

Job Summary

The Supply Chain Intern supports forecasting and inventory management by analyzing sales data, market trends, and, KPIs to optimize stock levels and minimize excess. Their key responsibilities include updating demand models, collaborating with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing), and creating reports or dashboards.

Essential Duties
  • Analyze historical sales, market trends, and inventory data to forecast future demand.
  • Monitor stock levels to prevent overstock or shortages and recommend reorder points.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using tools like Excel
  • Suggesting an allocation plan by customer or customer hierarchy method
  • Create high level capacity plan
  • Support the planners with purchasing, supplier management, and improving forecasting models.
  • Work with sales and marketing teams to validate assumptions and refine forecasts.
Required Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Eagerness to develop analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
Education and Experience
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Data Analytics, Business, or similarly related field
Physical Requirements
  • Capability to lift and carry objects up to 15lbs of various weights such as office supplies.
  • Proficiency in using hands, fingers, and arms for tasks such as typing and writing.
  • Sufficient visual acuity to read company documents.
  • Ability to hear and understand verbal communication.
  • Endurance to withstand duties that involve repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time, especially for office-based roles that involve desk work or operating computer systems.
  • Flexibility to bend, stoop, and reach low or high objects.
  • Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and wear protective gear as required by the job.
