Description
The Guest Services Representative is the first point of contact for patients, families, visitors, vendors, and community members. This role ensures all guests receive a warm, professional, and respectful experience while visiting the facility.
Responsibilities- Greet and register all guests, visitors, and vendors.
- Assist guests, residents, staff, and community members in locating departments and services.
- Maintain a respectful demeanor in every interaction.
- Maintain accurate visitor logs and issue identification as required.
- Communicate infection prevention updates and facility guidelines.
- Provide directions for any location on campus.
- Answer and route incoming calls promptly and courteously using a multi-line phone system.
- Relay accurate messages and voicemails to appropriate staff.
- Receive and arrange for delivery or pick-up of items for residents and staff.
- Provide general information about the organization and available services.
- Overcome communication or language barriers using available tools and resources.
- Contact Security, Environmental Services, or Facilities Management for assistance when necessary.
- Adhere to scheduled work hours with regular and predictable attendance.
- Complete all other duties as assigned.
- Starting pay range: $15.18 - $16.53 per hour, based on experience.
- Hours:
7:00 am – 3:00 pm, including weekends. - PTO and paid holidays.

- Eligibility for the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS). The WRS is a hybrid defined benefit plan; staff contribute 7.2% and the employer matches 100%.
- Age 16 years or older.
- More than six months of customer service experience.
- Ability to hear and communicate effectively in person and over the phone.
- Knowledge of switchboard, phone systems, and computer systems.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and using a computer.
- Repetitive use of hand and wrist movements for phone and computer tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Possible contact with individuals carrying communicable conditions.
- Compliance with professional, ethical, and privacy standards and related policies.
