Customer Support Specialist (Call Center) – Full Time
Location:
327 North 17th Avenue, Wausau, WI 54401, United States
Schedule:
40 hours per week, 7:30 am – 5:30 pm CST, Monday through Friday
Position type:
Regular, Full‑time, Non‑exempt
- Serve as the primary point of contact for bank customers using telephone and email, and support online chat (Banno) and electronic banking platforms.
- Act as a customer ambassador, delivering high‑quality experiences that reflect the bank’s brand.
- Engage customers by keeping their best interests in mind and exceeding expectations.
- Maintain a customer‑satisfaction mindset, staying personally accountable to customer‑centric behaviors and attitudes.
- Ensure customers are satisfied at the conclusion of each interaction.
- Demonstrate knowledge of bank products and services, including consumer and business online banking, the mobile app, mobile deposit, consumer bill pay, debit and credit cards, and eStatements.
- Perform timely follow‑through on customer requests, preparing and submitting maintenance with proper documentation.
- Participate in the implementation of departmental and bank‑wide strategic initiative projects to enhance the customer experience.
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- Two to five years of experience in a customer‑service role, or equivalent education and experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Windows.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to remain professional and composed under pressure.
- High degree of resourcefulness and adaptability.
