Dental Assistant (Full-time)

What you'll do:
  • Prepares, sterilizes, disinfects, and maintains dental equipment, instruments, and supplies
  • Collects and records patient health histories and x-rays
  • Ensures patient comfort during dental procedures
  • Completes charting of treatment information in the patients' dental notes from the doctor as directed
  • Assist doctor in management of medical and dental emergencies
  • Delivers postoperative and general oral care instructions to patient
  • Maintains infection control procedures, patient privacy, and professional interactions with patients and staff
  • Assist administrative team with customer service functions
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of dental assisting experience required
  • Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting Program or dental assistant experience preferred but not required
  • Previous customer service or office experience
  • Proficiency or the ability to become proficient within 90 days indental terminology and dental software for charting, treatment planning, clinical notes, etc.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Foster a positive attitude and be a team player
Patient Care

Hours:
  • Monday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
