Facility:
This tertiary hospital serves as a major regional medical center with approximately 275 average daily census and 300 beds in the department. The facility features a state-of-the-art emergency department and maintains a Level 1 trauma designation, providing comprehensive care with a collaborative hospitalist team and robust support services.

Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Urology

Job Details:

• Provide week-long coverage from 4PM Friday to 7AM Friday with system-wide call responsibilities

• Handle approximately 15 patient encounters per shift in a busy service environment

• Take call for the entire week covering Aspirus Wausau Hospital and EMS transports

• Focus on emergency and hospital-based procedures with no routine clinic responsibilities

• Manage common urological emergencies including kidney stones and ureteral stent placements

• Perform scheduled cases from clinic referrals as needed

• Must be board certified or board eligible with 90-day credentialing timeframe

• Requires general urology skills with advanced endoscopic techniques

• Must be proficient in laparoscopic surgeries and ureteroscopy procedures

• Adult urology experience preferred; no robotics required

• One week maximum assignments due to high patient volumes

• Wisconsin medical license required (IMLC not accepted)

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
