Role Description

This is a locum position for a Urologist, based in Wausau, WI. Responsibilities include providing high-quality care in urology for patients, performing surgical interventions when necessary, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The Urologist will also focus on specialized treatments such as robotic and pediatric urology procedures, ensuring the best outcomes for patients while maintaining high standards of medical excellence.

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge and expertise in Urology, including general urological care
  • Proficiency in conducting surgeries, including Robotic Surgery
  • Specialized skills in Pediatric Urology and related procedures
  • Medical degree with board certification (or eligibility) in Urology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients and healthcare teams
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development and staying current in medical advancements
  • Licensure to practice medicine in the state of Wisconsin
  • Experience in a hospital or private practice setting is advantageous
