Dual Credit instructors teach a college course in their high school and students who successfully complete the class earn college credits. This application is for consideration as a Dual Credit Instructor and is not for employment directly with NTC.
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
To stay within the guidelines of the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) NTC has set certain guidelines that high school dual credit instructors are expected to maintain.
General Education Teachers:
High School teacher must hold a current DPI license in the discipline in which he/she would like to teach. High school teacher must be employed as a secondary school instructor in a K-12 district within the Northcentral Technical College district. A copy of your DPI license required. Hold a Master's degree in the content area that you are teaching in; or hold a Master's degree and 18 credits in the content area you are teaching in;
or meet our tested experience. College unofficial transcripts required to apply, official transcripts are required after approval to teach dual credit courses.
All CTE Teachers:
High School instructors must hold a current DPI license in the discipline in which he/she would like to teach. High school instructor must be employed as a secondary school instructor in a K-12 district within the Northcentral Technical College district. A copy of DPI License required. Hold a Bachelor's degree. College unofficial transcripts required to apply, official transcripts are required after approval to teach dual credit courses.
