As dedicated college advisors, we recommend potential colleges fitting clients’ factors and budgets, as well as assist in identifying a career path that aligns with their abilities and interests. We support students to achieve those goals in the most cost-effective manner possible.

We are seeking college planners at our Wausau office who love working with high school students to help guide them toward their  our office, you will work collaboratively with a passionate and fun team of college advisors to provide college planning to students through individual meetings. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dedicated to the needs of his or her clients, and willing to learn and execute a proven system for delivering college planning.

Job Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
  • Building relationships with students to empower them to navigate the college process
  • Encouraging, motivating, and keeping students on track as they progress through the college admissions process
  • Assisting students to build a unique, personalized, and well-fit college list
  • Guiding students through the essay writing process to create and refine main, supplemental, honors, and scholarship essays
  • Gaining expertise in Class 101's curricula and general college knowledge
  • Identifying student goals for college and career
  • Understanding family college budgeting and helping families understanding financial aid processes
  • Coaching, mentoring, and cheerleading for your students along their high school journey!
Skills and Requirements:
  • Willing and excited to learn, grow, and gain new skills

  • Passion and heart for working with teenagers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong combination of collaborative and leadership skills
  • College degree preferred, but not required
