PositionStructural Engineer (Newly Created Position). As our pioneering Structural Engineer, you will have the unique opportunity to establish and lead our structural engineering team.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and develop the structural engineering division within our firm, setting the vision and direction for growth.
- Identify potential opportunities for expanding our product lines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including our team of engineers, contractors, and the client, to develop integrated solutions that align with our clients' needs.
- Lead the design and analysis of structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and local codes.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering their professional development within the structural engineering discipline.
- Stay at the forefront of industry advancements and emerging technologies, incorporating innovative practices into our structural engineering processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Wisconsin.
- Proven experience in the field of structural engineering in either highway and pedestrian bridges or dams.
- Strong business acumen and a strategic mindset to identify and pursue new market opportunities.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively guide and inspire teams.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget.
