Wellington Place at Rib Mountain is seeking to hire full-time and part-time Resident Assistants for the PM shift (6am-2pm). This is an opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping others and making a difference in residents’ lives.

Overview

The Resident Assistant (RA) performs a variety of assistive care duties under the direct supervision of the Administrator or Shift Leader to ensure the resident's Individual Service Plan (ISP) is followed. An RA encourages residents to maintain independence, assists and guides residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as necessary, and provides a home-like environment that supports physical, emotional, psychological, social, and spiritual activity.

The RA works independently, using sound judgment in the provision of personal and medical care, activities, and housekeeping/laundry services as scheduled.

  • 2nd shift: 6pm-2am

Qualifications
  • Must be 16 years of age
  • Speaks and understands English with effective verbal communication
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently and to stand/walk for long periods
  • Must pass a background check
  • Must have a teamwork attitude
Qualifications Preferred
  • CBRF Certification or active CNA License
  • Experience in a CBRF setting
  • Experience working with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other dementias
Physical Demands
  • Push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Stand/walk for the majority of the shift
