Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

• Guaranteed 36 hours per week

• 13-week contract ending on Sunday

• Every other weekend and every other holiday required

• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units

• Can be placed on call during low census periods with 2-hour minimum call back

• Patient ratio of 4:1

• Must work outside a 50-mile radius of facility

• Required certifications:
Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and ACLS

• Minimum 2+ years experience required with stepdown/intermediate/PCU experience mandatory

• ICU experience preferred, Trauma Level II experience preferred

• Ventilator/Trach experience required

• At least 1 prior travel assignment required

• EPIC charting experience preferred

• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred

• Care for patients with heavy telemetry monitoring, stable weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke

• Manage insulin drips and primary patients

• Must be able to work independently and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Any color scrubs permitted

• Clinical interview required
