Are you passionate about technology and making a positive impact in your community? CoVantage Credit Union is seeking a Senior Desktop Administrator to join our IT team. In this role, you’ll manage and support our primarily Windows-based desktop environment, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and high-performing. You’ll provide advanced desktop support, resolve complex issues, and collaborate with IT teams to maintain an efficient environment across both Windows and macOS platforms.
You’ll also contribute to new technology initiatives, including AI, helping empower our teams to better serve our members.

Job Duties- Administer and manage desktop infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security
- Configure and maintain Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce system configurations and security standards
- Manage desktop environments, including monthly patching, updates, and performance optimization
- Provide administration and support for Active Directory, Microsoft 365 (O365), and Exchange environments
- Monitor system and event logs to proactively identify and resolve security, application, and system issues
- Manage software deployment and upgrades using enterprise tools such as Manage Engine Endpoint Central
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues escalated from the service desk
- Support and maintain both Windows and macOS systems, including configuration, integration, and security compliance
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent relevant work experience
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft MCP or CompTIA A+ are preferred but not required
- 3–5 years of experience administering desktop environments, with a strong focus on Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365 (O365), Exchange, and desktop hardware/software deployment, including macOS support
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a wide variety of users
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and accurately under pressure to meet business needs
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to take initiative; flexibility to work occasional nights, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Must be bondable
