Working closely with the System Director, Supply Chain Operations and Logistics, the Regional Manager is responsible for optimizing all supply‑chain operations and logistics functions, processes, and systems across the region. The role includes overseeing region‑wide supply‑chain operational functions at assigned business units, such as receiving, internal distribution and delivery, warehousing, inventory and par management/replenishment, transportation, contract implementation and conversions. The Regional Manager also ensures a positive customer experience and directs site leaders in liaison roles with business‑unit leadership for all supply‑chain activities.

The Regional Manager performs duties that promote Aspirus’ mission, values, and philosophy while taking strategic direction from the System Director. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, developing, executing, and implementing strategies to achieve optimal financial performance, operational efficiency, supply‑chain leadership excellence, clinical superiority, system standardization, and enhanced customer and patient experience. The role improves organizational capabilities, optimizes processes, builds teams, and directs staff development.

The position requires establishing effective working relationships with leaders, peers, staff, and external partners, assisting in the development and execution of customer‑focused business plans and operational strategies, and minimizing risks through consultation with the System Director.

Full‑time, 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every pay period, day only.

• Knowledge of hospital management and policy administration, supply‑chain best practices, critical‑thinking skills, and development and implementation of budgets, financial strategies, and standards, normally acquired through completion of a bachelor’s degree. Education may be substituted with experience.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of supply‑chain experience; healthcare supply‑chain experience highly desirable.
• Experience managing logistics and inventory operations using a Materials Management Information System. Lawson/Infor experience preferred. Experience using an automated point‑of‑use or handheld par‑management system, or a Kanban inventory process also preferred.
• Certification in Supply‑Chain Management (e.g., CMRP) or similar is highly preferred. Certification in lean or Six Sigma from a recognized provider is also preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Service‑oriented, strategic leader with quantitative, technical, and financial expertise.
• Proven track record of performance improvement and project management.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work successfully in a fast‑paced, high‑tension, heavy‑workload environment with ever‑changing priorities.
• Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.
