Job Purpose

The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the branch, leading team members, managing the branch P&L, driving new loan growth, managing the current loan portfolio, marketing, maintaining current business partnerships, and developing new strategic business partners. The Branch Manager will perform in accordance with RMC’s Mission, Vision and Shared Values.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Manage and inspire team members to perform to their full potential, driving branch profitability.
  • Exercise independent judgment in making decisions affecting employees within company policy guidelines and District Supervisor oversight.
  • Act as subject matter expert on personal loan product offerings to present loan solutions to customers.
  • Create and maintain branch operations solvency through control of assets, proper credit extension, and follow‑up with past‑due customers.
  • Build customer relationships through exceptional service.
  • Assign duties to employees, examine work for accuracy, neatness, and timeliness, and train employees to increase efficiency.
  • Train and develop employees on branch operations, company policies, procedures, and laws governing the consumer finance business.
  • Work with Recruiting and District Supervisors to address branch staffing needs.
  • Develop new relationships with local retail businesses and maintain strong relationships with current retail businesses.
  • Handle past‑due customers by developing a resolution plan; delegate collection activity and follow‑up.
  • Process insurance claims and maintain insurance records and reports.
  • Accept and post payments, process and review loan documentation.
  • Complete month‑end reporting, approve branch expenses and sign checks.
  • Verify cash, balance cash drawers, and maintain cash count records.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2 years of management experience or completion of required Management Trainee program
  • Valid Driver’s License and access to a dependable automobile with liability insurance coverage
  • Must pass drug screen, criminal and credit background checks
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of Consumer Finance experience
  • College degree a plus
  • Willingness to relocate for career advancement

Working Conditions

This position works in an office providing consumer loan products in person and over the phone. The Branch Manager may occasionally require driving in his/her personal vehicle. The position generally requires more than 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays and overtime. The role is exempt for federal wage‑hour law purposes and is therefore not eligible for overtime pay.
