Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineering Technician assists in determining the operations required for fabrication, machining, and assembly of products. Troubleshoots and resolves issues. Recommends and implements improvements and/or modifications in the sequence of operations, equipment utilization, and related matters to increase efficiency and cost savings. Programs CNC equipment.
Primary Responsibilities- Create and revise CNC programs and set‑up sheets.
- Assist with or fully perform tape prove‑outs and machine set‑ups.
- Provide shop floor support.
- Inquire and order tooling as needed.
- Write and edit JIB’s and WI’s.
- Design fixturing under direction of manufacturing engineers.
- Revise production routings as needed for motors and generators in Oracle.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Technical degree or equivalent related experience, 3+ years. (Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Machine Tool preferred)
- Commitment to company values and working with a sense of urgency in areas including Safety, Productivity and Customer Success.
- Experience in a medium to heavy manufacturing environment with complex machinery, product mix and materials supply chain.
- Experience programming CNC lathes and mills with G‑code and CAM software (Feature
CAM preferred) required. Mazatrol experience desired.
