Digital Print Assistant

We are seeking a creative, tech-savvy individual to assist with operation of a commercial digital printer and finishing equipment.

• Processes print jobs assigned by departmental staff in a timely manner using necessary printing and finishing equipment (e.g. digital press, cutter, folder, UV coater).
• Performs quality control on finished jobs to ensure delivered product meets standards and customer expectations.
• Train in other departments and have working knowledge of workflow for other positions in our facility as this position serves as a backup/float into other departments as workload allows.
• Maintains a safe and clean workplace.

Mid/late morning to mid/late afternoon, Monday thru Friday only.

$14.00 to $17.00/hour depending on qualifications and direct or related experience.

• Direct work experience in print/digital print production environment is preferred; however we will train the proper candidate.
• Those with related experience and ambition to succeed in our training program will be considered.
• Competent or expert working knowledge of Adobe programs & Excel. Experience with Adobe InDesign and/or Illustrator is a plus but not required.
• Ability to carry/lift/move 20 lbs with occasional ability to do same with up to 50-60 lbs.
• Attention to detail with a high production and high quality mindset. Good math skills as well as general mechanical knowledge.
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred; other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• Good oral and written communication, including good grammar and spelling required.
• Ability to communicate effectively, as well as work in a team environment.
