Overview
Graphic Packaging International (GPI) is expanding our production team. As a new hire in your 120-day probationary period, you will be trained in one or more departments, which may include:
- Food Services
- Bowl/Tray Forming
- Finishing
- Web Operations
For all areas, you will learn the basics on safety, product quality and producing/packing finished goods for our customers. We offer a competitive benefits package with a starting wage of $23.75/hour. One week of vacation is received after completing a probationary period of 120 days and two weeks after one year of service. All candidates must be able to work rotating shifts, which includes the ability to work 12 hours.
Straight shifts may be available. Some weekend work may be required.
• Learn safety, product quality and the production/packing of finished goods for customers.
• Work across one or more departments listed above during the 120-day probationary period to gain exposure to the production operation.
- Preferred candidates will have 1-5 years of manufacturing experience.
- Data entry skills to record production information.
- Ability to distinguish between colors.
- Ability to read and comprehend English instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Basic mechanical and problem-solving skills.
- Required to wear steel toe shoes, hair nets, safety glasses, and earplugs at a minimum.
- GPI is a drug and alcohol-free workplace.
- Must be able to work in a tobacco-free campus setting (includes the parking lot, company grounds and the plant).
- Jewelry of any kind is prohibited on the production floor.
Starting wage: $23.75/hour. One week of vacation after completing a 120-day probationary period, and two weeks after one year of service. Benefits package is available to eligible associates.
