Schedule:1st Shift, Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
About the Role:The General Assembler is responsible for assembling metal, stone, wood, and electrical components according to blueprints, wiring diagrams, and production specifications. This position requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, teamwork, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Responsibilities:- Assemble metal, stone, wood, and electrical parts and components using hand tools, power tools, and machinery according to detailed specifications and blueprints
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and assembly instructions
- Inspect assembled products for defects or deviations from quality standards and report issues to the quality team
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot assembly challenges and improve production processes
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
- Meet production and quality expectations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
- Self-driven with strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred
- Basic understanding of wood assembly techniques and tools preferred
- Previous cabinet‑making or manufacturing experience preferred
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems is a plus
- Experience following safety standards in industrial settings
