2nd Shift Supervisor

Join Our Team as a 2nd Shift Supervisor and Lead the Way in Manufacturing Excellence!

Are you a motivated leader with a passion for safety, quality, and operational success? We are seeking a dynamic 2nd Shift Supervisor to oversee production operations on our evening shift. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to make a profound impact by guiding a skilled team toward achieving safety standards, quality benchmarks, and production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday 2PM to 12AM

What You'll Do:
  • Supervise and motivate production staff to meet safety, quality, and performance standards.
  • Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and operational protocols.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure production schedules are achieved efficiently.
  • Monitor and improve manufacturing processes, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Mentor team members, provide feedback, and support ongoing training and development.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
  • Ensure all documentation, logs, and reports are completed accurately and on time.
Required Skills &

Qualifications:
  • Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting (1-3 years preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and standard operating procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and production systems.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Nice to Have

Skills:
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Background in packaging or production environments.
  • Certification in safety or related areas (e.g., OSHA, First Aid).
Preferred

Education & Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED required;
    Associate Degree or higher in a related field is a plus.
  • Prior supervisory experience in manufacturing or production is highly desirable.
Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work on-site for the assigned shift.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
  • Must be adaptable to flexible schedules and overtime when needed.
