Position Summary
Under the direction of the Team Leader, the
- Review the supervisor's build list, obtain shop packets and review packet contents.
- Check system for location of parts and retrieve.
- Check print for proper assembly of the required components.
- Review the work instruction, print and "J"/customer specifications for proper assembly techniques.
- Assemble product per items number 3 and 4 above.
- Contact the proper personnel when there are discrepancies between parts and prints.
- Set up and use torquer for assembly or disassembly of product.
- Set-up the appropriate test stand to properly test assembled product.
- Conduct final testing and record on the correct "test log".
- Report any shortages to the proper personnel.
- Wash assembled product as required.
- Maintain identification of all components during the assembly process.

$19.00-$23.00/hour
Position SummaryUnder the direction of the Team Leader, the Mechanical Assembler will assemble, test and/or paint various types of hydraulic cylinders, swivels and/or components.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Review the supervisor's build list, obtain shop packets and review packet contents.
- Check system for location of parts and retrieve.
- Check print for proper assembly of the required components.
- Review the work instruction, print and "J"/customer specifications for proper assembly techniques.
- Assemble product per items number 3 and 4 above.
- Contact the proper personnel when there are discrepancies between parts and prints.
- Set up and use torquer for assembly or disassembly of product.
- Set-up the appropriate test stand to properly test assembled product.
- Conduct final testing and record on the correct "test log".
- Report any shortages to the proper personnel.
- Wash assembled product as required.

- Assist with ongoing continuous improvement efforts.
- Take cylinders/swivels off- line and pre-package for shipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned; material handling, shot blasting, parts washing, janitorial, cylinder assembly-test-paint and product packaging.
