Location: Town of Wausau

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Team Leader, the

  • Review the supervisor's build list, obtain shop packets and review packet contents.
  • Check system for location of parts and retrieve.
  • Check print for proper assembly of the required components.
  • Review the work instruction, print and "J"/customer specifications for proper assembly techniques.
  • Assemble product per items number 3 and 4 above.
  • Contact the proper personnel when there are discrepancies between parts and prints.
  • Set up and use torquer for assembly or disassembly of product.
  • Set-up the appropriate test stand to properly test assembled product.
  • Conduct final testing and record on the correct "test log".
  • Report any shortages to the proper personnel.
  • Wash assembled product as required.
  • Maintain identification of all components during the assembly process.

Full-Time

$19.00-$23.00/hour

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Review the supervisor's build list, obtain shop packets and review packet contents.
  • Check system for location of parts and retrieve.
  • Check print for proper assembly of the required components.
  • Review the work instruction, print and "J"/customer specifications for proper assembly techniques.
  • Assemble product per items number 3 and 4 above.

Marginal Responsibilities
  • Assist with ongoing continuous improvement efforts.
  • Take cylinders/swivels off- line and pre-package for shipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned; material handling, shot blasting, parts washing, janitorial, cylinder assembly-test-paint and product packaging.
