JARP Industries Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to build custom welded hydraulic cylinders and related systems for OEM customers. In this Manufacturing & Production role, you will interpret mechanical drawings, gather components, perform precise mechanical assembly, and verify quality through measurements and functional checks. You'll work closely with team members to meet production targets while maintaining strict safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards.
This is a hands-on position in a dynamic, outcome-focused environment with opportunities for skill growth and cross-team collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and follow mechanical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Assemble mechanical and hydraulic components into finished cylinders and systems.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to perform precise assembly work.
- Inspect parts and assemblies for quality, fit, and function; perform basic troubleshooting.
- Follow safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and proper handling of materials and tools.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and contribute to 5
- S and continuous improvement activities.
- Document work performed and complete required production and quality records.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and quality goals.
- Report defects, nonconformances, and equipment issues promptly.
- Assist with testing, packaging, and preparation of finished units for shipment as needed.
