We’re looking for a full-time 3rd shift Press Operator to run our press equipment .

This includes set up & run, preventative maintenance activities, along with mechanical, and process troubleshooting issues. Additionally, a Press Operator measures and inspects raw materials & printed film rolls to ensure they meet quality standards before they are made into bags/pouches.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Operate digital press & laminating equipment following process and machine specifications.
- Troubleshoot and adjust equipment, as needed.
- Measure and inspect raw material and printed film rolls to meet quality standards.
- Perform quality tests and document results.
- Complete job paperwork.
- Complete preventative maintenance activities on equipment; includes changing consumables.
- Communicate with team members in a respectful, supportive manner.
- Follow production schedule and communicate when issues arise.
- Support team members through continuous improvement efforts.
- Participate in team discussions to resolve issues and highlight opportunities.
- Operate secondary converting & packaging equipment as needed.
- Participate in continued learning opportunities.
- Follow all Company policies and safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform general housekeeping to keep work areas clean and organized.
- Follow all Company policies, rules, and regulations.
- Act as a professional representative of Roastar, Inc. at all times.

Education, Experience, Skills (Licensure & Certifications)- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
- Experience operating equipment in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Familiarity with printing processes, experience with 4-color process printing, and Adobe creative suite experience (a plus).
- Knowledge of color theory and print quality (a plus).
- Strong mechanical & troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to learn and be a supportive team member.
- Professionalism in the workplace.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Good math and measurement skills – able to learn how to use measurement equipment
- Must be detail-oriented and accurate; able to read/interpret documents
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload; meeting deadlines

- The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
- The employee is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, risk of electrical shock and vibration. The employee may occasionally perform work-related travel.
- The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud dependent upon the machinery you are exposed to. In such cases, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
