The role & your impact

As a Production Operator (Weekends), you will be responsible for operating, cleaning, maintaining, and troubleshooting production equipment to ensure the safe and efficient manufacture of finished probiotic products. This is a hands‑on operational role where your attention to safety, quality, and teamwork will directly contribute to production success.

Your key responsibilities in this role
  • Safely operate production equipment and perform basic troubleshooting when issues arise.
  • Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble machinery according to established procedures.
  • Complete all required production and quality documentation accurately and on time.
  • Stay current with all required training programs and operational procedures.
  • Communicate equipment, quality, or process concerns to management and maintenance teams promptly and effectively.
What you'll need to be successful in this role
  • Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • A basic understanding of mechanical equipment and troubleshooting concepts.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in food, dietary supplement, and/or pharmaceutical environments.
  • Understanding of Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Awareness of Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) safety procedures.
  • Understanding of the importance of personal hygiene in dietary supplement production.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning.
Additional skills & interests we value
  • Previous experience in dietary supplement, food manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or related regulated industries.

Working conditions

On‑site position located in Wausau, Wisconsin. Weekend schedule consisting of three 12‑hour shifts from 5:00AM to 5:00PM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Overtime opportunities are frequently available but are not required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Ability to stand and be on your feet for extended periods depending on production activities. Manufacturing environment with production equipment and associated operational conditions.

Starting pay: $19.00 per hour plus shift premium
