Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

• Guaranteed 48 hours per week for 13-week contract

• Float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units, with possible float to other critical care and inpatient units as needed

• Every other weekend and every other holiday required

• Can be low censused and placed on call with 2-hour minimum callback pay

• Minimum 2 years experience required with 1 travel assignment preferred

• Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU background with strong Neuro assessment skills required

• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS

• EPIC charting experience required

• Care for Neuro population including stroke, TBI, head injury, and neurosurgery patients

• Experience with EVDs and ICP monitoring needed

• Familiarity with Neuro interventional procedures a plus

• Perform main procedures including Neuro assessments and basic bedside ICU procedures

• Assist with bolt and drain bedside placements with Neurosurgery

• Any color scrubs permitted

• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility

• Associate Degree or Certificate required

• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours

• Must be able to manage independently and complete tasks timely

The facility provides advanced care for stroke patients, traumatic brain injuries, head injuries, and neurosurgery patients. The unit is equipped with modern neurological monitoring equipment and offers specialized services including neuro interventional procedures. The facility maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes EPIC electronic health records for comprehensive patient documentation.
