Med-Surg nurses provide care for adult patients before and after surgical procedures and for those receiving medical therapy.

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient’s health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication and treatment to ensure continuity of care among the nursing staff, physicians, and other treatment team members.
