• 12‑hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Contract length of 13 weeks
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday rotation required
• Low census eligible in hour increments as needed, typically in 4‑hour increments
• Work in a 44-bed intermediate cardiac stepdown unit with fast‑paced, high patient turnover
• Care for post‑op CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, vascular, arrhythmia, CHF, post‑procedure cath, pacer, defib, ablations, acute CP/MI, and med/surg overflow patients
• Typical patient ratio of 1:4
• Must be able to pass EKG test during first week of hire

• Minimum 1 year of strong cardiac experience required (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU)
• Minimum 2 years IMC/PCU/Tele experience required
• Experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro Drips required
• At least one prior travel assignment required
• Minimum 1 year of recent EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required;
  Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrub colors: any color
