Job Summary

Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Wausau, Wisconsin. Provide specialized care for post‑operative heart patients, acute myocardial infarction, and cardiogenic shock. Require Wisconsin RN license on day one.

• Provide advanced cardiac critical care to post‑op, AMI, and cardiogenic shock patients.
• Perform frequent cardioversions, line placements, ventilator management.
• Manage Swan‑Ganz catheters and intra‑aortic balloon pumps.
• Maintain 2:1 CRRT, 1:1 Impella support patient ratios.
• Float to other inpatient units as needed (critical care & acute care).
• Adhere to unit safety and protocol standards.

• Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing.
• Wisconsin RN license.
• BLS & ACLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of cardiac ICU experience.
• Preferred: CCRN certification.

  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

Cross Country Job . Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
