Post Surgical Care Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 1 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program:
Staffency Program - Aspirus.

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/

Experience:

Must have recent hospital experience.

Required Credentials:
Associate Degree or Certificate

Unit/Facility Details:
Nurse to pt ratio: day/pm 1:4 or 5, nights 1:5- 7

Shift & Scheduling:

• Day/Night variables. 7a-7p/7p-7a.

• Weekend/Holiday: every other weekend, and holiday

• On Call/Call Back Requirements:
Contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours - can be low censused in hour increments as needed. Unit will typically low census in 4 hr increments and could ask for a traveler to work only 4 or 8 hrs of the shift. This is not considered to be on call.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
