Job Title: Travel Nurse RN DOU – Direct Observation Unit

  48 hours per week, 12‑hour variable shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM and 7:00 AM–7:00 PM)
• Shift: 12 hours, nights

• Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $3,060 plus $500 contract‑completion bonus
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low‑census unbillable hours, can be applied in hourly increments as needed

• 13‑week contract assignment
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, including IMC and CTU units
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• 8‑bed observation unit with a patient ratio of 1:4
• Care for patients with anemia, cellulitis, COPD, dehydration, pre‑ and post‑op urology and GI; average stay up to 48 hours
• Administer cardiac drips (Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin)
• High volume of admissions and discharges
• Read and interpret EKG strips; EKG exam required during compliance
• Perform duties in a Direct Observation Unit environment

• Minimum 3 years of experience
• 1 prior travel assignment required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, ACLS (AHA or ARC); NIHSS highly preferred
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Scrubs: any color
