Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Wausau, WI | Labor and Delivery

Contract (9 Weeks) | 36 Hours per Week | 12-Hour Day Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care in an active Labor and Delivery unit with approximately 1,350 deliveries annually
• Manage care across an 11-bed Labor and Delivery unit and an 8-bed Postpartum unit as needed
• Participate in every 3rd weekend rotation and every other holiday rotation
• Be available for on-call assignments during low census periods, with a minimum 2-hour call-back requirement
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
• Comply with all facility health and safety policies, including mandatory masking requirements for staff who decline flu or COVID vaccination during flu season

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience in OB with Labor and Delivery experience
• Demonstrated Labor and Delivery clinical competency

• Experience with EPIC EMR strongly preferred
• Familiarity with high-volume Labor and Delivery environments
• Experience managing variable patient census and adapting to fluctuating unit demands

• Guaranteed 36 hours per week with call-back pay available when recalled during low census periods
• No float requirements, allowing you to focus your expertise within the Labor and Delivery setting
