OpportunityRN
- Med Surg/Observation
- 12-hour PM shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week assignment
- Float to all inpatient units as needed
- Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
- 8-bed observation unit with 1:4 patient ratio and 2 RNs per shift
- Care for patients with conditions including anemia, cellulitis, COPD, CHF, dehydration, pre-op, urology, and GI
- Manage drips including Cardizem, Nitroglycerin, Insulin, and Heparin
- High volume of admissions and discharges with average patient stay up to 48 hours
- Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips required
- Will be required to take an EKG exam during compliance
- Minimum 2 years of experience required with at least 1 prior travel assignment
- EPIC charting experience required
- Background in observation units or step-down MS/Tele units preferred
- Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, and ACLS (ARC or AHA accepted)
- Associate Degree or Certificate required
- Scrub colors: any color
