Description
Under the supervision of a Licensed Nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides high-quality, person-centered care to residents of Mount View Care Center. The CNA supports residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), monitors and reports changes in condition, contributes to maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment, and promotes resident dignity, independence, and choice. This role serves as a key member of the interdisciplinary care team and ensures a respectful, homelike atmosphere for all individuals in the nursing home.
TheCertified Nursing Assistant Opportunity
- The starting pay range for this role is $20.69 - $23.50, based on experience, plus $1.50 shift differential for 2:00pm - 10:00pm hours worked and $2.50 for all 10:00pm - 6:00am hours worked.
- We have full-time and part-time shifts available, which include weekdays, weekends and holidays.
- Full-time and part-time positions open. Shifts are 2:00pm – 10:30pm or 10pm-6:00am

- As a full-time employee of NCHC, you would be eligible for the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS). The WRS is a hybrid defined benefit plan. It contains elements of both a 401(k) or defined contribution plan and a defined benefit plan. Participating staff contribute 7.2% and NCHC will match this at 100% each pay period!

- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry.
- Ability to lift and support residents safely.
- Computer literacy, which includes electronic medical records.
- More than 2 years of experience in long-term care of a nursing home setting.
