Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Job Details- 13-week contract
- 12-hour day/night variable shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Guaranteed 48 hours per week with overtime after 48 hours worked
- Contract end day is Sunday, not Saturday
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Float requirements include all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units
- Unit may low census in 4-hour increments; travelers may be asked to work only 4 or 8 hours of a shift
- 36-bed Med Surg Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry
- Patient conditions include stable and weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
- Patient ratio of 4:1 with primary patients and insulin drips
- Stepdown, intermediate, or PCU experience required; ICU experience preferred
- Ventilator and trach experience required
- Trauma Level II experience preferred
- Minimum 2+ years of experience required
- At least 1 prior travel experience required
- EPIC charting experience preferred
- Required certifications:
Wisconsin RN License, BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC) - Associate Degree or Certificate required;
Bachelor's Degree preferred - Scrub colors: any color
