Aspirus Health is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) for a high-acuity Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) at our regional hospital in Wausau,WI.

As an IMCU RN, you’ll provide comprehensive nursing care to patients who require closer monitoring and more advanced clinical carethan a traditional medical-surgical setting.
- Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered nursing care
- Monitor patients closely and recognize changes in condition
- Assess,prioritize, and respond to evolving patient needs
- Carefor patients with complex medical, neurological, trauma, and post-surgical conditions
- Collaborate with physicians, CNAs, therapists, and other members of the care team
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
- Develop and strengthen advanced assessment and clinical decision-making skills
- Educate patients and families throughout the care process
- CurrentRN license in Wisconsin or eligibility through a compact license
- BLScertification
- Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical assessment skills
- New graduate RNs are welcome to apply
- ExperiencedRNs with med-surg, telemetry, step-down, progressive care, IMCU, ICU,critical care, or similar experience are encouraged to apply
