Looking for a part-time healthcare opportunity that gives you a consistent schedule, meaningful work, and the chance to make a difference?

Southern Health Partners is seeking a dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medication Aide to join our healthcare team at the Marathon County Jail in Wisconsin.

This position is ideal for someone looking to supplement their income while maintaining a predictable schedule.

Certified Medication Aides are preferred, but certification is not required. We will also consider qualified LPN candidates and individuals with relevant healthcare and medication administration experience.

• One 8-hour shift every other Saturday
• One 8-hour shift every other Sunday
• One 8-hour morning shift during the week

• Provide medication administration and medication pass services within your scope of practice and training
• Prepare and organize medications accurately
• Monitor patients and report changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare provider
• Maintain accurate medication records and patient documentation
• Support daily healthcare operations and the nursing team
• Follow established medication administration procedures and clinical protocols
• Provide compassionate and professional patient care
• Maintain patient confidentiality
• Promote a safe, secure, and professional healthcare environment
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team

• Current LPN license in the state of Wisconsin
• Current CPR certification
• Previous nursing experience preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team

• Medication Aide certification preferred, but not required
• Previous medication administration, healthcare, caregiving, CNA, or medical assistant experience preferred
• Current CPR certification, or ability to obtain as required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work effectively in a structured correctional environment
